Tango Innovations 4000Elite WMLRF Setup Guide
- Ensure optic mount is properly torqued to receiver and that ring caps are properly torqued. Recommend Loctite 242 (blue) for ring cap screws.
- Ensure top ring mount is level, with even space on both sides.
- Tip: Take off flip up scope caps, they will only get in the way at some point- of your display or your laser.
- For Tango to Badger COMM, the diving board designed for Vortex Impact will have a lower profile, but standard CLIF is more rigid.
- Bed the diving board to the top ring with Loctite 620.
- Apply Loctite Red to diving board screws and torque to 65 in/lbs with 5/32” hex key.
- Let Loctite dry for a day.
- Mount LRF to diving board: ensure clear of dials, slide forward against slot, torque to 45 in/lbs with 5/32” hex key.
- Mount tape switch to rifle, where you can activate while on gun, ensuring wires won’t snag and routing where operation won’t be effected.
- Measure distance from laser to center of optic. (2.6” for 34mm Badger COMM with the short CLIF). Place reflective tape on a leveled target with a defined aiming point at this height.
- Parallel zero the vis laser to the center of zeroed optic. ENSURE YOUR RIFLE OPTIC IS ZEROED AND SET FOR 100YD POA/POI.
- Refine zero at dusk as far as you can see it (i.e. 300-400y)
- Toggle settings to preferred setup: yards or meters, display brightness, standby time, internal vs external solver, screen orientation, vibration.
- Test laser zero at distance
