Grey Sky Training, in conjunction with Last Shadow and Ben Franklin Range, is conducting an Aerial Platform (Helicopter) Firing Course in Templeton, PA. This one day course will be offered August 9th and 10th, and is limited to 8 persons per day to maximize your experience. Last Shadow’s MD600N NOTAR helicopter pilots and crew are renowned to be the best in the business, and provide an array of helicopter services to military, law enforcement, and civilian clients. Grey Sky Training instructors have been teaching aerial platform ops to military snipers and LE tactical officers for decades. Ben Franklin Range is comprised of 1100 acres of training area, specialty ranges, and off-road track, with unlimited range layout possibilities due to its unique terrain and its previous history as a mine and an off-road park.
The facility has been specially prepped for this course with numerous target sets, including simulated fighting positions and vehicle convoys. Students will get a full safety brief for firearms and helo safety, followed by a quick zero confirmation and carbine warm up. After a block instruction on aerial firing techniques and pilot to shooter comms, they will then build through a progression of increasingly complex target situations ending with a final scenario in the shoothouse.
Lodging is available on site the night prior to each course for $65. Register through the Ben Franklin Range website: https://benfranklinrange.com/lodge/
